These robust readings, enhanced by the label's detailed, up-close sonic perspective, were somehow not included among the Living Presence CD reissues. So we offer this three-disc set to plug that gap. The Farewell Symphony was coupled with Mozart's 40 and both are included here, transferred from a reel tape release. All other titles are sourced from pristine original LPs, meticulously restored and remastered. This release is also available via download: unencrypted 320kpbs mp3 files, properly labeled and tagged, plus high-resolution jpgs of the inserts and booklet.
